We got our third baby from here tonight! We bought our Siberian Husky in 2016 from Per City. The staff were all amazing and super helpful. In 2017, we went in and fell in love with an Alaskan Malamute. The staff still remember us and love seeing updated pictures of our babies. Tonight we fell in love with a 4 month old Australian Shepherd. The staff were wonderful as always! We visit the store and all the puppies every time we go to the mall. Can’t give enough positive praise to the staff at this store!
We had a great experience. We were visiting from Indiana and stopped by Pet City. I was able to find my dream dog, a Dalmatian. The hotel we were staying at didn’t allow pets. Pet City was willing to hold our dog until the day of our flight. We were able to take him with us during the day and bring him back in the evening. They were very accommodating. We took him to the vet and the vet said he was a very healthy dog. If you are looking for a place to get a pet Pet City inside the Aurora Mall is the place to go.
Jessica NorthWe just got our first puppy couldn’t be happier she is best dog ever
Family JeffersonBest puppy ever and they sold it for a great price nice service good shopping trip
Stop lumping all pet stores in the same category! Just because they have puppies, does not mean they are from puppy mills! Get to know the store. Get to know the owners. This is a great store! And my the year old Chorkie from them has been the picture of health!
We bought a WestiePoo here a couple days ago. I have to say we were a bit skeptical….and in all honesty I wanted to just go in to look and puppies but had no intention of buying one from there. I had already had a breeder picked out for a different breed of dog.
But, I saw this little happy go lucky Westiepoo jumping on the glass. I really wanted either a full poodle or poodle mix…. So I thought I would have a look at her. The poor little love had been there for a few months already. She was a little scruffy looking, sort of terrier like, so I think people were turned off by it. I thought she was precious. And as soon as she was in the play area her personality completely won me over. She loved all of us and my kids. When they fed her and my kids spilled and then messed with her food to pick it up she didn’t even bat an eye.
I know everyone is about adopt don’t shop. Well some people want to be able to get a certain breed or breed mix and know what they are getting. We tried to adopt and the dog turned out to be aggressive….. There is nothing wrong with wanting a certain type of dog and buying that. It does not HAVE to come from a shelter.
Also the owner went down on our little Annie price because she wanted her to go to a good home since she had been there for a bit. I could tell she did care about her well being. She was very friendly and helpful and so were the other employees. Everyone wanted to let us know tips and advice about Annie. And the free vet exam is awesome. People worried about their dog being sick or any of that, why would they have a free vet exam then? Get your pup checked right after purchase and there you have it.
I would get a puppy from pet city again. As I type this my little sweetheart is curled up in my lap for the night. I am a satisfied customer!
We fell in love with the sweetest, smartest, most expressive dog we’ve ever seen at Pet City, and couldn’t help but bring him home (although that wasn’t the plan!). He’s an Australian Shepherd and he brings us so much joy every day. He’s been part of our family for 10 months now and he is very healthy and gets along with our other dog exceptionally well. When reading reviews I try to remember there’s always more to the story and so many variables. I choose to trust in the positive, give the benefit of the doubt, and decide for myself. We experienced exceptional, knowledgeable, professional service, and got a great price, too.
Jack CarrollI have had my Siberian husky for 2 months now and she has been absolutely wonderful for my girlfriend and I. We looked through the book pet city gave us researched the breeder and found out she was very well respected. We love our dog so much we want to get a friend from pet city for her/ customer service has been amazing everytime there so friendly to us and love seeing our pup come back in. The owner is knowledgable and helps when I have questions! Also we went in one day and randomly met our huskies breeder and we got to sit there and ask question it was truely an amazing moment. Thank you pet city for all your help.
P.s. All the bad reviews on here and just crabby people who need to vent if you want a top quality pup in Fort Collins pet city is your chance.
We just bought our havachon, Charlie, last week. My husband visited the store a couple of times before hand. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the store. The cages are small, but so are the puppies. They seem to find homes quickly so the space they are in is extremely temporary. The staff seems to genuinely care for the dogs. Charlie is more timid than most puppies, but is warming up quickly. The vet gave him a clean bill of health. We were provided with the breeder information for Charlie as well as vaccination records and even some probiotics to ensure that his transition was healthy and smooth. He’s the best dog I have ever had, and we’re glad we went to Pet City. I can’t speak to anyone else’s experience, but ours was wonderful.
After having a couple shelter dogs that had come from abusive homes and now having a child I decided to go the pet store route. I went in many times before finding the right puppy for our home. The place was always clean, the employees busy but friendly. Once we found the right puppy the price was very fair. 4 months later and we have a loving sweet dog that has been 100% healthy! There were so many negative reviews from ignorant non customers I had to put in my 2 cents. By the way, they are supposed to be kept in close quarters and the cages are kept clean!
